Description
Spitfire Mk IX is a one-off T-style body on the bench at Ash & Ebony. The face carries a hand-painted aviator skull and wings, a map pickguard and a black bridge. The control cavity is shielded in copper.

Build story
The photographs show the body during the build: the carved routes, copper foil in the control cavity, a separate copper pickguard, and the painted face with the map and compass rose. The legend on the upper bout reads Spitfire Mk IX.
